Kumasi Asante Kotoko have denied claims by King Faisal that they have breached the approved transfer procedure in their attempt to secure the services of Shilla Illiasu.

Faisal have vowed to lodge a complaint with the Confederation of African Football against Kotoko for secretly luring their captain to sign up for them even before official negotiations on the transfer deal had began.

But sources at Kotoko told Joy Sports Faisal had given them the nod to sign the player.

According to the sources, Kotoko have mandated two of their directors to negotiate a favourable deal with Faisal to end the furore by the end of the week.
