The division one sub middle league games in Zone I would be delayed further because of continuous court wrangling.
Though other Zones have declared their qualifiers for the national middle league, Zone I clubs B.A United, Aduana Stars, Topsymore and Upper Stars have to wait until Thursday when the GFA clears a court case to commence their competition.
Business magnate, Alhaji Asoma Banda, a supporter of Kintampo United, is challenging an Appeals Committee decision, which endorsed the ineligibility of that club to compete in the sub middle league.
But the GFA’s lawyer, Thaddeus Sory, says that both parties appreciate the need to clear the issue to make way for the commencement of the middle league and are working frantically to have expeditious judgment on the case.
