The acting chairman of the Ghana Football Association, Kwasi Nyantakyi, yesterday submitted his candidature forms for the presidency of the football association.
Nyantakyi, who is hot favorite to win the top FA position, submitted his nomination forms at the FA secretariat amidst some fanfare from his campaign team.
“I am ready to lead the FA in a substantive role. I welcome the challenges associated with the job, with my experience in football administration, I hope to continue with the good work we’ve already started.
“I pray for fair campaigning from all parties devoid of any false accusations and attacks.”
Also expected to hand in their nominations before the 9 December deadline is the executive council chairman, Y.A Ibrahim, Kojo Bonsu and Vincent Sowah-Odotei, all who have picked nomination forms since the process was officially opened on Monday.
Four persons have so far filed their nominations for the presidency of the Ghana Football Association.
