The inaugural edition of the annual Otumfuo Invitational Cup Soccer Tournament will be launched on Friday in Kumasi.

Ghanaian clubs Asante Kotoko, King Faisal and AshantiGold will compete alongside Nigerian champions Enyimba, Ivorian soccer giants Asec Mimosa, and Burkinabe side, ASFA Yenega.

Each of the competing teams is entitled to an appearance fee of $15,000.

The winner will receive prize money of $30,000, with the runner-up bagging $20,000 and the third $15,000.

The tournament is scheduled to kick off on December 11.
