Accra Hearts of Oak might have failed to defend the league title but striker, Prince Tagoe has picked up for himself the golden boot award after scoring a goal yesterday to increase his tally to eighteen.
Tagoe’s eighteenth goal of the season hands him the golden boot award from his closest contender, Emmanuel Osei Kuffour of AshantiGold failed to find the net and thus end the season with thirteen goals.
The 20year-old Accra Hearts of Oak striker hit the back of the net as the Phobians went down 1-2 to Ebusua Dwarfs in Cape Coast.
Tagoe swelled his goal tally to seventeen during the penultimate round of matches as he scored four times on the day with Phobians hammering relegated, Kade Hotspurs 5-1.
