Kumasi Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been declared winners of last Sunday’s league game against Real Tamale United at the Kaladan park.
The disciplinary committee of the Ghana Football Association after careful deliberations on the evidence provided by both clubs has awarded Kotoko three points and three goals.
Real Tamale United have been handed a three-game home ban for the crowd violence at the Kaladan Park.
Additionally, RTU have been fined 20 million cedis.
The 29th week GT Premier League match between RTU and Kotoko at the Tamale Kaladan Park ended abruptly after irate home fans invaded the pitch to attack the referee for what they termed bad officiating.
In view of the ruling, Kotoko can safely lay claim to the 2005 league title even if they lose their final day match against Berekum Arsenals on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors now have 60 points and are four points clear of their closest rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak, who have 56 points.
