The local members of the Black Stars left Accra Wednesday for London where they will join coach Ratomir Dujkovic before emplaning for Saudi Arabia.
Four players, George Owu (AshantiGold) and Philemon McCarthy (Feyenoord), Dan Quaye (Hearts of Oak) and Issah Ahmed (Asante Kotoko) will travel alongside assistant coach of the team, Sellas Tetteh and team manager, Opoku Afriyie.
The friendly international will be played next week Monday the first for the Stars after securing qualification to the world cup.
Black Stars coach Ratomir Dujkovic will team up with the members of his team in London on Wednesday enroute to Saudi Arabia.
The game in Riyadh forms as part of the build-up towards the 2006 African Cup of Nations.
Dujkovic has been away on holiday on his native Serbia following Ghana’s qualification to 2006 World Cup in Germany. AS Roma defender Samuel Osei Kuffuor would be returning to the squad after a seven-month lay off from the Black Stars team.
Osei Kuffour has been included in the 21-man squad for the game that will kick-start the Black Stars' preparations for the 2006 African Cup of Nations.
However, the Black Stars management team have confirmed the absence of Joe Tex Frimpong for the game on Monday.
The Nigerian-based player is keen to help his club Enyimba win the Coca-Cola FA Cup on Saturday when they take on Lobi Stars.
Aside the FA Cup, Joe Tex is hoping to be crowned as the Most Valuable Player for the season.
The Black Stars striker is among three players nominated for the MVP Award.
