The supporters Union of Real Tamale United, has re-iterated its claims that the club’s management colluded with officials of Kotoko to fix last Sunday’s premier league match.
The RTU fans have challenged the Ghana Football Association to invite them before the disciplinary committee to provide proof of their claims.
If RTU are found culpable for last Sunday’s mayhem at the Kaladan Park they will lose valuable points and effectively, a top four berth.
Mohammed Amin Abioo the spokesman for the Channels says they have enough evidence to buttress their claims.
“This is a wild allegation and you know without evidence one cannot just mention this. We have a lot of evidence to buttress our whatever point raised in our statement,” Amin Abio told Joy Sports. .
“There is even a bloodbath between the technical men and the management because the information the technical men have is that the money (bribe) was 100million cedis and the other source have it that it was 350million cedis negotiation with management
“Some of the players about eight threatened to boycott the match if management told them to play it soft.
"They (management) informed them (players) and they (players) resisted and they (management) were insisting. We have enough evidence and are every ready to voice it,” Amin Abio added.
As expected, Kumasi Asante Kotoko has rubbished the match fixing allegations by the RTU fans. Public relations officer of Kotoko, Jarvis Preprah has told Joy Sports any independent observer at the Kaladan Park would testify to the competitive nature of the game until its abrupt end.
“Nobody who knows football would not say it was a match of convenience,” Jarvis responded.
