Black Stars coach, Ratomir Dujkovic says he is satisfied with the performance of Samuel Osei Kuffour in yesterday’s international friendly against Saudi Arabia.
The AS Roma defender made a return to the Black Stars in yesterday’s 3-1 win over Saudi Arabia in Jeddah after a seven month lay off.
Kuffour after playing the full game earned Dujkovic's praise but the Serbian still insists the defender has to work his way into the team for next year’s African Cup of Nations and the World Cup.
“He (Osei Kuffour) played correctly. Nothing special, but not bad. I need another match to observe him maybe in Italy or another friendly with the Black Stars. He didn’t disappoint so this is important for the Black Stars.
“ I called him because everybody knows he is good player so we have to use everybody to make the best results possible in the CAN and the World Cup.
“His inclusion in the CAN and the World Cup depends exactly on him and his performance.”
Dujkovic says he is also impressed with the performance of Sparta Rotterdam’s Anthony Obodai and Danish-based Francis Dickoh who just got his first cap for Ghana.
“All players, including Obodai and Dickoh, played well and I am satisfied but I have to plan another game to observe and monitor some players in Germany and England, and some of them in Denmark to have everything clear because until now I do not have so many options to observe these players playing abroad.
“So now, I would take time and go to observe them,” he said.
