Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie is expected to leave the country tomorrow on a club sponsored trip to Europe.

Afranie will be in Switzerland for a seven-day coach’s refresher course.

The trip has necessitated the cancellation of a scheduled friendly match with Power FC this weekend.

After leading the Porcupine warriors to the league title, Afranie is now keen to resurrect the club’s flagging fortunes in the CAF champion’s league.

The Swiss trip is expected to put the coach in good stead for the 2006 MTN CAF champions league campaign as well as the GT Premiership.
