An inspection team from CAF is expected in Ghana next month as the continental body begins its two-month facility inspection exercise.
CAF in December will be inspecting facilities of its 53 national associations to host Caf organised matches in 2006.
The two-month inspection of facilities will begin on 1 December by a two-man inspection team appointed for each of the six Caf zones and will end by January 31 2006.
CAF officials will prohibit the use of venues that do not meet the required standards.
According to CAF they will impose a ban on any stadium where the safety of fans is not guaranteed.
Recommendations will be made to any Association concerning stadia and hotels whose facilities are not up to scratch.
The new directive by CAF is been justified as necessary to prevent avoidable deaths and injuries at the stadia while provoking repairs of obsolete facilities.
