Kumasi Asante Kotoko might still be celebratory mood over their second league title in ten years and justifiably so.
Razak led the Porcupine Warriors to their first title two seasons ago.
Razak currently coaches Malian side Stade de Malian after what can best be described a turbulent time with Kotoko, the club he won many titles with in his playing days.
Despite leading the Porcupine Warriors to the title in the 2003 season, Razak reportedly clashed with several of his key players including striker Isaac Boakye and took a lot of flak from the fans over his player selections.
His joy at winning the title at the end of the season was tainted by allegations of match fixing by members of his own board.
Razak was subsequently bundled out of the job. But he says it’s now history as he has regrets over his time at Kotoko.
“No regrets at all. I came there (Kotoko) for a purpose and the purpose is winning the league. I won the league and I’m gone. It’s history now. I have nothing against them,” Razak told Joy Sports.
Razak also dismissed allegations that he was incompetent since the porcupine warriors bought the league title.
“That is history now. I don’t need anything to comment anymore because it’s been said already but the truth would come out one day.”
