AshantiGold striker Emmanuel Osei Kuffuor could be heading for the Gulf Region next season after a fruitful season with the miners.
Kuffour scored thirteen goals to end the season as the second top scorer in the GT Premier league.
The former Hearts of Oak striker was stopped short of annexing the top scorer’s award by his former teammate Prince Tagoe, who finished the season with 18 goals.
Emmanuel Osei Kufuor was an integral part of the Black Stars set up that reached the quarter final stage in the 2000 African Cup of Nations as well as the 2002 Nations Cup in Mali.
Osei Kuffuor told a local radio station, he is on his way out and the destination will be the gulf region.
‘I’m on my way; it is not likely I will be at AshantiGold next season. I’m bound for an Arab country though I’m yet to confirm the club,’ he indicated. He further stressed that he believes he will make a difference if he is given a recall to the Black Stars.
