Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach E.K Afranie, is relishing the feel of a league trophy, which will be for keeps.
With two more rounds of matches to the end of the season, Kotoko seem to have taken a commanding lead after a 2-0 win over city rivals King Faisal.
The porcupine warriors top the GT premier league standings on 57 points, four points adrift of their closest contenders, Hearts.
And Afranie believes his team will cruise all the way to the title.
“I told my boys that the league championship would be won by beating King Faisal. They did just that and I knew it wasn’t going to be easy for Hearts of Oak.
“I am ninety-per cent certain that the league is coming to Asante Kotoko” Afranie told Joy Sports.
The Kotoko coach also admitted that the journey hasn’t been easy since taking over from Karim Zito.
“I wasn’t easy because I came in during difficult times, we had to play two continuous away games at Kpando and Cape Coast and I thank God I haven’t lost a match so far which is a very good performance for my boys” Afranie said.
