Accra Hearts of Oak coach, Sanzio Bahner believes the league title campaign is far from over.
Hearts lost their balance in the title chase, stumbling 2-0 to Power FC at the Tema Park yesterday.
Yet Bahner insists the last two games in the season will make all the difference for his team.
“We lost the game two-nil, Power FC were no better than us. We had lots of chances and we didn’t score and that’s why we lost” the disturbed Bahner told Joy Sports.
Bahner sounded very optimistic of his side’s chances with two games to go maintaining that Asante Kotoko can still slip.
“We have two matches to go, six points to catch and Kotoko must catch the six points first,” Bahner added.
By yesterday’s win, Power FC coach Bashiru Hayford, not only propelled his team out of the throes of relegation.
He completed a double over the giants of the premiership, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak. Hayford’s in a post match reaction told Joy Sports that his boys were motivated on the day.
“Our position the log wasn’t good before the game and I promised my boys a package – financial, which they lived up to expectation.”
