Accra Hearts of Oak’s premiership title defence today hit a snag at the Tema Park where Power FC dealt the phobians a 2-0 defeat.
Power FC scored both goals one in each half to throw Hearts of Oak’s quest for a successful league title defence off track.
The phobians would now be counting on a major slip by their archrivals, Asante Kotoko who extended their lead on top the standings by four points.
Hearts of Oak maintain their second position with 53 points and have two games to go.
The phobians would play relegation threatened Kade Hotspurs next at the Ohene Djan Stadium before playing away to Ebusua Dwarfs at the Robert Mensah stadium in Cape Coast.

At the Sunyani Coronation park, Bofoakwa Tano drew 1-1 with Feyenoord with Heart of Lions posting a 2-1 win over Sekondi Hasaacas at the Kpando park.
