Kumasi Asante Kotoko have stretched the lead on the GT premier league to four clear points from their archrivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
Kotoko beat city rivals King Faisal 2-0 at the Baba Yara stadium to raise their lead to 57 points.
The porcupine warriors scored first in the first half through Douglas Nkrumah getting before Nana Arhin Duah sealed the game with his fourth premiership goal of the season in the second half.
Asante Kotoko now have two games to go with a tough hurdle expected in Tamale where they play Real Tamale United and a home game against Berekum Arsenals.
