Black Stars coach, Ratomir Dujkovic, has named Samuel Osei Kuffour in his squad for Ghana’s international friendly game against Saudi Arabia.
The call up ends a protracted impasse between the AS Roma defender and the Serbian trainer.
Kufuor fell out with Dujkovic ahead of the Stars’ World Cup qualifier against DR Congo in March.
But there have been persistent calls for his return to the team in the wake of Ghana’s qualification to Germany 2006.
Other players also making a return to the nineteen-member squad are Alex Techie Mensah and Anthony Obodai.
Dujkovic has however left out regulars; Goalkeeper Sammy Adjei, Hamza Mohammed, Addoquaye Pappoe and John Paintsil for this match.
The Black Stars will leave Accra on Wednesday, November 9 for the friendly match.
Ghana plays Saudi Arabia on the November 14 in Riyadh.
