Eleven players from the women’s national under-19 soccer team, the Black Princesses have earned promotion into the senior’s squad, the Black Queens after their performance in the double header friendly against South Africa.
Black Queens coach Bashiru Hayford, who handled the Princesses says the eleven players demonstrated their quality during the 2-1 win over the South Africans last weekend.
Hayford expects the team to adjust as soon as possible in time for the upcoming international assignments.
The Princesses drew 1-1 with the Basetsana on Friday in the first of the two-game series.
"The signs are bright with the level of performance exhibited in the past two weeks since we began camping." Hayford said.
The Black Princesses would honor the return encounter in December.
