AshantiGold would be returning to their Len Clay stadium home grounds for their next home match on Sunday after completing their one-game home ban.
The Appeals committee of the Ghana Football Association on Friday reduced Obuasi-based club’s three-game home ban earlier handed them by the disciplinary committee to one after the miners appealed the decision.
Prior to the appeal committee’s ruling, the miners had threatened to boycott the weekend’s GT premier league match against Real Tamale United, which ended goalless at the Berekum Golden City park.
AshantiGold had threatened to boycott this weekend’s round of matches if they were denied a fair hearing.
AshantiGold were to serve the first of a three match home ban over the weekend – a situation that has incurred the wrath of the miners.
The miners would on Wednesday play at the Golden City park again this time against home team, Berekum Arsenals in the match-day-27.
