Accra Hearts of Oak striker, Prince Tagoe has taken the lead on the scorers chart in this year's GT Premier League after his brace in Hearts of Oak 3-0 away win over Kpando Heart of Lions on Sunday.
The national under-20 striker leads the chart with thirteen goals.
Tagoe had failed to score for some weeks now allowing Emmanuel Osei Kuffour, formerly of Accra Hearts of Oak and now with Ashantigold to catch up with him on eleven goals apiece on top of the chart.
But the veteran failed to keep pace with Tagoe after Sunday’s round of matches when he threw away a penalty in Ashantigold's goalless drawn game against RTU at Berekum.
King Faisal’s Eric Gawu has ten goals to his credit while former Black Starlets striker Sadat Bukari of Heart of Lions has scored nine times this season.
Sadat is not the only player with nine goals, Alex Asamoah of Berekum Arsenals and Bofoakwa Tano’s Yaw Antwi also have the same number of goals to their credit.
