Nana Fitz, a former chairman of premier league side, Kumasi Cornerstones is asking football stakeholders to retain the current FA management team in office to oversee Ghana’s world cup participation.
The former Cornerstone boss, who has over the years shown interest in the FA chairmanship job is advocating for continuity for Ghana football.
Nana Fitz in an interview with the Graphic Sports stated that the atmosphere presently was not ideal for a change in baton of leadership.
“Against the background that our focus now should be how to go to the world cup and make the desired impact, it is important that we steer clear of any decision that can rock the boat.
“A new management board will definitely take time to settle down and get things moving, this can affect the positive state of affairs now, ” Nana Fitz said.
His views is in sharp contrast to what Alhaji Grunsah, chairman of King Faisal is clamouring for.
The Faisal boss is demanding a change in order calling for the formation of an interim management body to run affairs before the FA goes for elections.
