The management of Accra Hearts of Oak are considering pulling out of next month’s Otumfuo Invitational Cup tournament.

All six participating teams which includes Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Asec Mimosa of Ivory Coast, Nigeria’s Enyimba, King Faisal and AshantiGold have already accepted invitations to play the tournament.

The tournament is to be played in honour of Otumfuo Osei Tutu, the life patron of Asante Kotoko in commemoration of his reign as King of the Ashanti’s.

But the phobians are considering pulling out due to the near clash in date with their congress, which is scheduled for November 26, four days before the start of the competition.

The management of Hearts of Oak are expected to take a firm decision this week.
