The Ghana Football Association says the nation should be enthused about the new kit sponsorship deal with German manufacturer Puma.
Puma will for the next three years kit the Black Stars and other national teams under the performance related deal potentially worth over $12 million.
The acting chairman of the GFA, Kwesi Nyantakyi, told Joy Sports, Puma got the nod over other trusted brands because after due diligence on the various proposals, the FA realized it would not merely kit the national teams but become a major partner in the total development of the Ghanaian game.
Puma were frontrunners in a race that was competed by other renowned manufacturers like Adidas, Asics, Pony, Nike and Umbro.
Horst Widmann, Vice-president of the German apparel maker says his outfit considers Ghana as their number one baby now and presents the most lucrative sponsorship package for the nation.
