After weeks of preparation, the national under 20 team, the Black Satellites have been told they will not travel to Abuja this week for the ECOWAS mini tournament originally scheduled for this weekend.

The tournament has been postponed to November 13, days after the ongoing premier league has ended.

The Satellites draw a large number of its membership from clubs in the GT Premiership.

The Satellites had warmed up for their expected departure later in the week with a friendly against Sam Arday’s Feyenoord.

Goals from Hearts of Oak striker Prince Tagoe and Douglas Nkrumah of Kotoko helped the Satellites to a 2-1 win over Feyenoord.
