Kumasi Asante Kotoko have rubbished demands by Accra Hearts of Oak that they be declared winners of their 25th week premier league game.
Kotoko are awaiting the outcome of an official protest lodged by their archrivals at the disciplinary committee of the Ghana Football Association over the issue.
Hearts claim that Kotoko were the cause of the late start of the match and should therefore be denied the point they earned from the draw.
But the Accra representative of the Porcupine Warriors, Kwame Amoa Bosompem, says there is no rule in the FA’s rulebooks that supports Hearts’ claim.
