A bus load of fans of premier league side, Okwawu United from Accra have traveled to the team’s base in Nkawkaw to convince management to remove British, David Taylor as head coach of the club.
Okwawu United are deeply involved in the relegation battle, lying second from bottom on the league table.
The club’s board secretary, Oduro Nyarko, has told Joy Sports that though management would have liked for Taylor to continue, they had to bow to the pressure from the supporters.
Last week, fans of Ashanti gold have also successfully forced out the club’s Belgian coach Hans Van Der Pluym after a string of poor results in this season’s premier league.
Taylor is the third premiership coach to lose his job due to pressure from supporters of the club this season.
The first was Asante Kotoko’s Malik Jabir during the first round of the season.
