Kumasi Asante Kotoko would play the Black Satellites in a friendly game this weekend after Feyenoord turned down a request to play the porcupine warriors.

The Gomoa club according to Joy Sports rejected the Kotoko request because the porcupine warriors are their next league opponents at the same venue, the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi.

Kotoko would play the national under-20 side on Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium.

Asante Kotoko had penciled the Feyenoord as their opponents for Sunday’s game at the Baba Yara stadium ahead of their 26th week league fixture.

Feyenoord have instead agreed to play the national under-20 team, the Black Satellites at the Ohene Djan stadium in Accra on October 16.
