The disciplinary committee of the Ghana Football Association has slapped a three-game home ban on AshantiGold over charges of crowd violence that erupted at a premier league game against Accra Hearts of Oak.
The suspension aside, Ashanti Gold would pay a fine of 10 million cedis.
Accra Hearts of Oak did not escape the disciplinary rod.
They have been handed a 2million cedi fine for their role in the nasty incident.
Irate fans of Ashanti Gold attacked some members of the Hearts of Oak technical team during that match at Len Clay stadium in Obuasi.
Ashanti Gold thus need to find a new ground some 200km away from the Len Clay stadium for their next two home games in the remaining rounds of matches in the GT league.
In other disciplinary actions, Kade Hotspurs have also been fined 10 million cedis for crowd trouble during their league game with Berekum Arsenals.
Hotspurs have barely recovered from a one-match home ban and are battling relegation.
Bottom club Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs were the first to face disciplinary action for a similar incident in a tie with Kpando Heart of Lions two weeks.
