On the field, the Porcupine Warriors host strugglers Kade Hotspurs in midweek, with that fixture with sworn rivals Accra Hearts of Oak looming at the end of the week.
But first the management has to deal with an unexpected in-house strife. The resignation of the club’s deputy public relations officer, Yamoah Ponkoh has highlighted internal problems within the club’s interim management team.
Yamoah Ponkoh who doubles as the deputy operations officer announced his resignation early this morning has made several claims against the lack of co-operation from the other management members.
“The interim management team is not a team,” Ponkoh told Joy Sports.
“Whatever we discuss at meetings finds it way into the public. I don’t wan to be part of such a system,” Ponkoh added.
Jarvis Preprah the head of club administration and the public relations officer told Joy Sports that the management hopes to talk Yamoah Ponkoh out his decision.
“The Kotoko family needs him (Yamoah) and that’s the same way he needs us (Kotoko),” Preprah told Joy Sports.
