King Faisal goalkeeper, Abubakari Kankani has accepted blame for an error that dashed the club’s hope of making it to the Confederation cup finals.

The former Ashanti Gold goalkeeper was put on the carpet by club officials for unjustly gifting FAR Rabat their winning goal on Saturday during their confederation cup return leg.

Kankani admits that his error has effectively ruled Faisal out of contention for the Confederation Cup.

The goalkeeper says he hopes his apology to the entire team in Rabat would be accepted as he braves up for the challenges ahead.

King Faisal are third in group A, four points behind leaders FAR Rabat.
