Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Black Stars defender, Aziz Ansah risk missing out of the GT premier league if found guilty for punching an opponent.
Aziz Ansah’s action was contained in a report by the match officials for punching Ebusua Dwarfs’ Ekow Ghansah resulting in the player sustaining a cut under his left eye.
The case is been referred to the Ghana Football Association’s disciplinary committee for action to be taken against the defender.
Asante Kotoko drew goalless in their 21st week GT premier league match played at the Robert Mensah stadium in Cape Coast.
The match recorded some ugly scenes after the game ended.
Meanwhile Asante Kotoko together with Berekum Arsenals have been accused of employing the service of macho-men to harass opposing teams.
This complaint was made by match officials in a general observation report submitted to the Professional League Board of the Ghana Football Association.
