Former national star, Patrick Allotey was discharged from hospital yesterday.

Black Stars team doctor, Dr Engmann, told Joy Sports that Allotey is better now and is on his way to Accra.

The former national under-17 star collapsed yesterday during the Black Stars’ training session at the Baba Yara stadium.

The player who was at the training grounds to watch his former colleagues in action was seen hailing one of his friends after the training session when he suddenly slumped to the ground.

After failed attempts to resuscitate him, Allotey was rushed to the North Suntreso hospital where he was admitted and treated.
