The Ghana Football Association has denied a BBC Focus on Africa report claiming that a team from German kit manufactures, Puma, was expected in the country to seal a deal.
Acting chairman of the GFA, Kwasi Nyantakyi(pictured), told Joy Sports he was unaware of any invitation to Puma.
At present Ghana has no kit sponsor.
The Umbro kits worn by the national teams are being purchased by major sponsors-Goldfields Ghana.
Though Nyantakyi admits the federation is considering proposals from five kit manufacturers including, Puma, Umbro, Adidas, Pony and Asics, he insists they have yet to settle on one of these firms.
Ghana’s last kit deal with Le Coq Sportif, a French firm, failed to yield any positive results after FIFA rejected the company’s samples presented for the last Olympic Games in Athens.
