Black Stars coach, Ratomir Dujkovic is considering a friendly match with Kumasi Asante Kotoko tomorrow as his team prepares for Sunday’s world cup qualifier against Uganda.
The Black Stars yesterday had their first training session at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium with almost half the 20-man squad invited for camping.
The game with Kotoko has been on the cards for a while but the Serbian, who is waiting for the full complement of his squad, has yet to confirm his team’s participation.
If confirmed, the Kotoko game will be the final trial match for the Stars before Sunday’s duel.
Captain Stephen Appiah, Michael Essien and Matthew Amoah joined the team in Obuasi last night.
Striker Isaac Boakye, Dan Edusei and Addoquaye Pappoe were expected to arrive in the country yesterday.
Also expected to have arrived last night was defender John Mensah.
Despite a commanding display in defence for Ghana through out the qualifying campaign, John Mensah has been forced out of his Italian side, Chievo Verona.
He’s been loaned out to Serie B side Cremonese for one season.
Meanwhile, the Cranes of Uganda are expected to arrive in the country this morning.
