Ghana coach Frimpong Manso feels that his U-17 side have to distinguish themselves in rather tough game when they clash against Senegal on Saturday in the final round of qualifying for the 2011 African Under-17 Championship.

The winner over the two-legs reaches the finals of the Championship to be staged in Rwanda early next year.

However, with Ghana welcoming the Senegalese to Accra for the the first leg clash, Manso knows his Black Starlets must come out with a victory if they want to qualify, with the return leg in a fortnight's time.

“The boys know they have a lot to prove and I’m convinced they will put up their best show this weekend and get a good result at home before the second leg in two weeks,” the Black Starlets coach said this week.

“Our preparations have been on course. We have been in camp since the last game against Zambia and we have mastered our weaknesses.”

The team's finishing as displayed in both legs of their 3-2 aggregate win over Zambia in the previous qualifying round is an area that the former international hopes to show signs of improvement.

“Goal scoring has been our problem but the response at training has been positive and we are hoping it will reflect in our game.”
