The National Women’s league entered into Day two over the weekend and Kumasi Sports Academy is still winless after splitting points at home against Prisons Ladies.

The visitors drew first blood after a brilliant strike by Helena Obeng ten minutes into the first half.

The Academy Ladies mounted pressure on the visitors seeking an equalizer before the break but all efforts were in vain as the reformers(Prisons Ladies) defended well.

The beauty and tension of the game grew so high as the host bounced back with a fantastic well taken free kick from striker Elshaddai Acheampong in the 72nd minute few meters away from the 18 box.

After 90+3 minutes of interesting soccer fiesta, the referee Monica Lange whistles for the end of the game which ended in a 1-1 with Elshaddai Acheampong winning the MVP award.
