Inkoom goal sends Kotoko top

A first half Samuel Inkoom goal has sent Asante Kotoko top of the standings on the premier league table atleast for today as the bulk of the fixtures come off on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors secured their second successive win in the league after beating Hasaacas at the Sekondi Sports Stadium today in a late kick off.

Kotoko, now leap frogs rivals, Hearts of Oak who do not play until midweek by a point.

Samuel Inkoom scored the match winner in the 22nd minute of the first half.

In the other game also played today at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast, Heart of Lions posted a one-nil victory over Gamba All Blacks courtesy a first half goal by Stephen Owusu.
