Black Satellites poised for victory over Senegal

Ghana's U20 side will seek to overturn the 3-1 deficit when they come up against their Senegalese counterparts in African Youth Championship final qualifier to be payed on Friday.

Coach Didi Dramani's side suffered defeat in the first leg tie away in Dakar and are poised to secure victory a comfortable victory at the Cape Coast Stadium to see them through to the 2017 AYC to staged in Zambia.

The Black Satellites faced a similar hurdle in the previous stage of the qualifiers when they had to score 4 goals at home to overturn a 2-1 defeat to Ethiopia to book a place in the final stage of the qualifiers.

Ahead of Friday's game, the U-17 bronze medal winning coach says his team is determined to keep a clean sheet and score more than a goal against the young Teranga Lions.

He added that he has beefed up his squad with players who can be relied on at a time that the team needs them most.

"We plan our objectives in our preparations that is to keep a clean sheet and to score more than one goal . We have realized our weaknesses but as for our strengths they are within us. We also saw the weaknesses of their opponents and their strengths and we have been working on that in our planning and training", coach Dramani said.

"We had the opportunity to host the Bukinabe U20 who play quite closely to the Senegalese and from my opinion Burkina Faso gave us the opposition to expect on Friday."

"We also had the opportunity of adding other players to the squad who given the opportunity can show that I've out their best. We need players who are fully fit and can replace our injured players."

"The players know the importance of qualifying to the African Youth Championship Andre opportunities that it can bring to their individual development and the development of the team."

"From our preparations we are ready for the match against Senegal it's not beyond us to reach our objectives. The boys are really motivated for the game, the head coach of the Black Satellites said in an interview.

The match which will be played at the newly constructed Cape Coast Stadium will kick off at 3:00GMT.
