Ghana has regained its third position in Africa after moving up one place to 37th best country in the latest world ranking released by FIFA on Thursday.

The Black Stars with 728.44 points moved up from 38thposition in the global ranking and from 4th on the continent.

The Black Stars are ranked third in Africa behind Algeria(1st) and AFCON holders Cote d'Ivoire(2nd ), with Senegal and Egypt completing the top five on the continent.

In the Women category, Ghana is now ranked 48th in the world and 3rd best on the African continent, behind Nigeria (1st) and Cameroon(2nd).
