Four local radio stations have been accredited by the Ghana Football Association to run radio commentary for the 2008/2009 Glo Premier League.

Happy FM, Hot FM both based in the capital Accra together with Kumasi-based Boss FM and Obuoba FM in Nkawkaw are the authorised media outlets to run live match commentary in the on-going league which enters match-day-9 this weekend.

With the radio broadcast rights to the league secured by the four, any other broadcaster that violates the latest directive would face legal action, says the FA.

“The Football Association would be grateful if officials of these Radio Stations would be permitted by your clubs to run radio commentary during league matches.

“We reiterate our position on this issue that any Radio Station(s) that has not paid the fee for the Broadcast Rights should not run commentary on any of the ongoing 2008/2009 Glo Premier League matches.

“The Football Association shall take any legal action against any Radio Station(s) that violates this directive,” the FA statement said.
