Nine players have been named to be ineligible to feature for their clubs in the on-going Polytank League by the Division One League Board.

A statement issued by the Ghana Football Association said the ineligibility of the players was based on their actions that infringed on the Regulations in the Laws of the Game and the Association.

The affected players includes Abdullah Razak of Samartex, Lawrence Lartey of Nania FC, Abdul Rashid of Bofoakwa Tano and Adams Sulemana of Westlandes who are ineligible for Weeks 3, 4 and 5 matches of the DOL fixtures.

The remaining five players who are ineligible for the Week 3 matches are Akuoku Emmanuel of Aduana Stars, Kwadwo Poku of Cornerstones, Seidu Iddrisu of Juventus, Michael Adu-Poku of Kaaseman and Okae Emmanuel of Great Mariners.
