Tema Youth and Hearts of Oak can take over as league leaders if they manage wins before Heart of Lions kick off their late Sunday fixture as the Glo Premier League enters match-day-7.

The weekend’s match arrangements would see the leaders, Heart of Lions play in an evening kick off against Liberty Professionals at 18:00 GMT (6:00pm local time) at the Ohene Djan Stadium thus affording the other two sides - Tema Youth and Hearts of Oak – who are level on points with Lions the chance to assume the top position if they pull victories.

However, their main challengers, Tema Youth and Hearts of Oak have difficult games to deal with.

Isaac 'Opeele' Boateng, who has had to brush aside reports of a move to Kotoko would lead Tema Youth on their visit to the Sunyani Coronation Park where they play debutants, Berekum Chelsea.

Tema Youth lead their opponents by two points and would attempt to claim all the spoils but Chelsea could deny the Tema side the chance to at least occupy the summit.

At the Tamale Sports Stadium, Real Tamale United will welcome Accra Hearts of Oak in a tight contest. A win for the Phobians doesn’t look likely against an improving RTU side.

Asante Kotoko would have to rediscover their form when they play away to All Stars at the Wa Park.

The Porcupine Warriors have only managed a point from their last two games and are two points off the pace at the top of the standings.

A win from the Wa grounds looks possible for Kotoko but All Stars could scupper their title hopes at this early stage. Bottom club, Hasaacas have a difficult task at hand against Berekum Arsenals even though they will be playing at home, the Sekondi Sports Stadium.

AshantiGold, who have struggled after a blistering start to their campaign take on Kessben FC at the Len Clay Stadium while Gamba All Blacks will play away to King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The last match of the weekend’s fixtures which involves two newly promoted sides will come off on Monday.

Monday’s game between Sporting Mirren and Eleven Wise would kick off at 17:15 GMT (5:15pm local time).
