The Juvenile Football Festival kicked off in the Upper West region on Sunday as 568 players lined up for the FA-sponsored competition.
The festival which gives talented young players the best possible opportunity to achieve their dream and become the stars of the future was attended by Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Juvenile teams from all the ten regions in the country are competing in the GH¢200,000.00 tournament.
Twenty-four sides made up of a set of twelve for both Under 15 and 12 colts clubs are taking part in the 13th edition of the tournament been held at the Wa Park.
According to the FA President, the competition forms part of the GFA's grassroots and youth development plan.
