Bofoakwa Tano could not cause an upset at the Swedru park where Gamba All Blacks came from a goal down to win 2-1.

Both sides ended the first half goalless.

In the second half, Bofoakwa were reduced to a man down after captain Opoku Antwi was sent off for picking up a second yellow card in the 48th minute.

But Bofoakwa Tano drew first blood in the 56th minute when Ebenezer Tetteh smashed in from a freekick to put his side in the lead.

However, the Black Magicians got back into the game steadily as substitute striker, Richard Anderson put them back in the game when he equalized in the 72nd minute.

Ten minutes later, Richard Anderson ensured that the Black Magicians left the grounds with the maximum points at stake as he grabbed a brace after making it 2-1.
