Ghana striker Baffour Gyan is looking up to the start of next season after been ruled out of action for the rest of the season.

A surgery to the knee injury suffered by the 28-year-old striker means the player who plays for Russian side Saturn FC would need enough time to recuperate.

Gyan had a knee operation at the start of the season because of the setback suffered during training.

“I have been out of action for about six months now and with the way things are going I have to be patient,” Gyan told KickOffGhana.com.

“I think I will be ready by next season because of the healing process since the surgery has been slow.

“I think when I take my time I can return to full fitness and play better.”
