Sellas Tetteh would join the backroom staff of the Black Stars exclusively for Ghana's international friendly against Australia.

The decision to draft Sellas back in the team was confirmed by the President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi, Friday afternoon.

Sellas Tetteh, now coach of the national U-20 team will have a specific role, solely for next week's game by briefing Akwasi Appiah, the substantive Black Stars assistant coach about the team. Sellas Tetteh, until recently was the assistant to Claude Le Roy.

Akwesi Appiah, who goes into his first game with the regular Black Stars against Australia, will direct the team with support coming from the national U-20 team coach, Sellas Tetteh, who has worked with the senior team in the past.

Ghana plays Australia in an international friendly on May 23 in Sydney.

The game forms part of Ghana's preparations for the 2010 African Nations Cup and World Cup qualifiers which begins in June.
