Ghana striker, Junior Agogo could be moving some steps higher from the English League One competition after his impressive performance at the African Cup of Nations.

The Sun reports that Premiership side, Portsmouth will launch a £2.5million raid for the Nottingham Forest forward in the summer.

Three Premier League clubs are chasing the Ghana hitman but a source close to Agogo, 28, said: “Portsmouth are in the driving seat.”

Agogo has been in good form, having helped Ghana to a third-place position at the Nations Cup after finding the back of the net on three occassions.
