A trophy tour of 12 African countries is part of soccer legend, Abedi Pele Ayew's itinerary in the coming weeks as the former Ghana captain begins a campaign to hype the 26th edition of the African Cup of Nations.

The tour to be sponsored by Stanbic Bank, a sponsor of the African Cup of Nations would see Abedi Pele visiting the 12 nations runn froming November to January.

The former Black Stars captain's first base is Uganda.

The tour, which would see him visit both qualified and non- qualified countries will the former player delivering one massage- Ghana 2008 African Cup Of Nations.

Abedi, a member of Ghana's last victorious Nations Cup team in 1982 will give football fans of the 12 countries a feel of the original Nations Cup trophy.

Aside showing off the trophy, he will also update the countries on Ghana’s preparation for the tournament that would see 16 nations vying for the coveted trophy.
