There are no record ticket sales but the re-opening of the Råsunda stadion in Solna on Tuesday would see two continental football forces test the grounds first for the season.

Ghana and former world champions, Brazil would clash in a non-competitive friendly as both sides take advantage of the busy of European qualifiers to fine-tune their preparations for the challenges ahead.

The two sides would be keep their momentum going as they brace through the chilly conditions in an expected lively friendly action.

For both coaches, Ghana’s Claude Le Roy and Carlos Dunga of Brazil, matches of this nature afford them the opportunity to tinker with their squads.

Ghana enter Tuesday game coming from a 1-1 drawn friendly with Austria on Saturday with the Brazilians having beaten Chile 4-0 earlier in the day.

Though Ghana’s camp has missed Stephen Appiah, Michael Essien and Junior Agogo through injuries, the game at the Råsunda stadion, nicknamed - The Concrete Bunker, the tie is expected to be thrilling.

The game is rematch of the second round game of last year’s World Cup in Germany and comes almost nine months after the South American nation edged out the Black Stars in that game.

Ghana went through a successful training session ahead of the game at on Monday at an indoor venue with no injury worries.

Claude Le Roy had a full house which included striker Asamoah Gyan and goalkeeper Sammy Adjei.

Gyan was forced to withdraw at halftime with an apparent pulled muscle while Adjei collided with an opponent on Saturday in the game against the Austrians.

Team captain, John Mensah and Iliasu Alhassan were both rested as they watched the team train from the sidelines.

The two matches are expected to boost the Black Stars’ preparations towards the African Cup of Nations in 2008.

By virtue of being host of the 2008 African Cup of Nations finals, Ghana would not be playing any competitive match until January 2008, when the tournament kicks off in Accra but would be continuing with preparations with a series of matches lined up.

Kick off for Tuesday's game is at 19:30 GMT at the Råsunda stadion.
